Mommy and Me

Lilly and I at our Mommy and Me swim class.
We went every day for to weeks at ALHS (it was crazy to go back to my old high school and to think I graduated 10 years ago.) Lilly just loved the water. We had a good time. I think we might do the class again. Well, we HAVE to do it again. I guess you can say Lilly didn't pass the testing (yes, they tested all the kids 6months to 24 months.) The instructor said she need to work on her bubbles and not kicking when she is doing her back floats. Are you kidding she is 19months. I thought she did GREAT.

Lilly favorite part for the class was when the kids got to jump off the side of the pool. But, she wanted everyone to jump at the same time. She would get a little worked up if it didn't work out.

Lilly blowing bubbles!
Just a little water up her nose.

Grandpa

Brian's Grandpa came to town last weekend. He lives in El Paso and we don't get to see him very much. We had a great visit with him.
We went over to Vicky's house for dinner on Saturday night. Brian made spaghetti and meat balls (you did very good Brian.) Brian's Uncle Ron drove out from Brentwood to join us for dinner.
(Picture above: Lilly, Vicky, Ron, Grandpa, Kevin and Brian)
On Sunday we went out to dinner at Northwoods Inn. We meet Brian's Brother Kevin and his wife Randa there. We had a very nice dinner.

Here is Lilly holding her Grandma and Great Grandpa's hands. She just walked right up to Grandpa and grabbed his hand and when he let go, she grabbed it again. It was so sweet to see them together. It was so nice to spent time with such a caring and loving man.
We love you Grandpa.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Happy Birthday Mom! Last night we got together at Jenni's house for my Moms birthday. We had a great time. Here are just a few pictures of our night.
Lilly and the Birthday girl.
Trying out the BIG girl swing.

Jenni made a yummy cake.
And cupcake's for the kids.
The girls just coloring.
We all stayed a little late. I think Macie was ready for everybody to go home (Owen let Macie wear his shoes and she loved wearing them).
Mom we all hope you had a great day. We love you so much and are blessed to have you as our Mom. Until next, Happy Birthday Mom!

July 4th in Sacramento

WEDNESDAY, my Mom, Dad, Lilly and I drove up to Sacramento (Elk Grove.) To spend the 4th with my sister Caryn. Well, not just Caryn. The whole family went except for Jared and Brian. They stayed home to hold down the fort at the bakery.

THURSDAY, I got to go watch Spencer and Bridgete's swim lessons with Caryn. That was fun. Then you went home and got in the pool.

This was the first time I put Lilly in a life vest. As you can tell she really wasn't to sure about it.

And she never really warmed up to it. Later, Aimee and Adam and their family's made it safely. Caryn made a GREAT dinner, we had shredded pork burritos. Good job Caryn.

FRIDAY, Happy 4th! Aaron and his family drove in today. So that gives us a total of 11 adults, 14 kids (Evan and Jenny came home on Saturday to make 16 kids.) and 1 dog. I guess you can say that is a house full.

Lilly just woke up from her nap and was ready to get the party started.

Lilly and her Grampy.

Jacob and Lilly trying to be good.

We ordered some pizza for lunch. Tyler, Bridgete and Lilly were have a little picnic.

Lilly enjoying her pizza.

Caryn had a BIG water slide that they set up in the backyard and the kids just loved it. It had a little pool on the side. Lilly and Jacob had a good time playing in it.

Macie and Lilly had the same suit. Too cute.

Tyler and I filled up water balloon's for the kids to play with. Lilly thought she was in charge of handing them out. That didn't work out to good.

Aaron of course brought some music and all the kids had so much fun dancing. Lilly even got the beat.

Later, the kids all had ice cream. Lilly was having a rough time with hers.

The kids were all set for the fireworks.
Lilly and I watching fireworks. Brian we SURE missed you.

SATURDAY, we got all 16 grandkids together for a picture. All the kids wore the Old Town Baking Company shirts. I guess you can say this is the future of O.T.B.C.

Here is just a little look at how fun is was to get all the kids together. Lilly was just not happy at all.

Dave and Caryn, thank you so much for opening up you home to all of us. We really had a good time. Maybe next year. Or is it to soon the think about next year. I love you guys so much and already miss your family.

Fun in the SUN

On Monday Adam, Mike, Austin, Brian, Lilly and I went to the beach. The boys were going surfing and asked Brian if he wanted to go. So, we pack up and went to the beach after they closed the bakery.
This was Brian first time surfing.

And off they went. Mike was already way out there. You can see him at the top/right. Brian had a good time.
Lilly and I had a good time just playing in the sand and enjoying the sun shine.
