We started the morning off right with green eggs, pancakes and green milk. Lunch: thanks to the bakery for the green bread for peanut butter sandwiches. For dinner we had corn beef and cabbage (sorry no picture.)

Super Bowl Sunday sweet Lilly woke up with pink eye. NO FUN. It took a few days and then Jackson got it. I just had to post this picture....it makes my eye itch every time I see it.

Grampy got 6 hens and 1 beautiful rooster. The kids love to feed them and get the eggs. Jackson now knows when we get to their house he just heads straight for the backyard to see them.

Our baby is 4. It is very hard for me to believe. She is at such a fun age and I just love it. Here are a few things that Lilly is into at 4:

She loves coloring, playing dress up, being a mommy to her little babies,

ballet, hop-scotch, going to the mall and going on dates with her Daddy. And my favorite is helping me bake. She has a GREAT memory. Lilly is a great big sister (most of the time.) She is very loving and caring.

We had a birthday party for her at Pump it Up.

It was raining so hard all week so it was so nice to get out of the house. Lilly was so excited.

Lilly really wanted to make gingerbread cookies this year. So, we called Grammy to see if she wanted to join in on the fun. Lilly had a great time and Jackson just wanted to get on the stool the whole time.

For Jackson's 1st birthday we decided to have a Halloween/Birthday party. It was a lot of fun and a lot of planning. But, I would have to say it all turned out great. And the birthday boy loved it.

Here are a few pictures of the food we made. I think my favorite was the "Worms for Brains." Brian made a jack-o-lantern face on each orange pepper.

I cant believe that our little man is 1 today. How time goes by so fast.

Jackson is a very happy boy. He loves his Sissy so much. He always need to know what is going on and be in the middle of everything. Here are a few things he loves right now: crawling (not a walker yet), loves throwing balls at people as along and you throw them back, loves to rock out to Yo Gabba Gabba and Mickey Mouse Club House, has a BIG crush on Dora, loves to wrestle with Dadda and Sissy always jumps into, loves to suck this thumb, loves his blankie, loves to play in water (maybe a little to much), loves to sing, and loves to give dirty looks (he did the day he was born and still does.)

We are so blessed to have a healthy happy boy!

Fair time

I love the Fair. We had a great time this year. And we were very luck to have Grammy come along for the fun (sorry mom I didn't get a picture of you and the kids.) Lilly was able to ride the rides this year and just loved it. She keeps asking when were going to the Fair again.

Lilly had two weeks of swim lessons. She loved it. But, we are still working with her to not rely on her floaties. Were getting there.

On the 26th of May, my Dad turned 71 and on the 31st Brian turned 35. We had a little get together at my parents.

Monday we headed out to Indio for a little time away for Brian's birthday. Thank you mom and dad for letting use the timeshare. We had a great time. It was smoking hot, so most of our time was spent in the pool.

Brian's birthday dinner: steak, shrimp, pasta and red cabbage salad. Jackson wanted a piece of steak so bad.

I had a very special Mother's Day. It started off with yummy breakfast in bed. Then getting to hear sweet Lilly sing in church and give the prayer in primary. Lilly is NOT fond of Santa Clause or the Easter Bunny.....so I thought. But when Lilly woke up one morning last week she said "I really want to go see the Easter Bunny at his house." So we needed to take advantage of this, so off we went to the mall where I had to explain that he lives there just before Easter.

I can't believe our little girl is 3. We had a little "Care Bear" party for her the Saturday before her birthday. She has been asking for a Care Bear party all year. And she said she wants a Care Bear wedding too (so glad she is planing her wedding already.)

Another year has come and gone. Its my last year to enjoy my twenties. Crazy to think I am going to be thirty. I have been very blessed this year. Healthy kids, great friends and a loving husband.

Thank you to these sweet girls for a very nice relaxing birthday brunch. It was great.

We went to Olive Garden as a family. Lilly was on her best behavior and Jackson slept the whole time. So it was very nice. After, Brian got me an ice cream cake :) It was a perfect birthday. And I cant wait to go get my hour massage that Brian got for me. Thank you.

5 years ago today Brian and I said "I do." He is a great father and husband. I am so thankful for all he does for our family. Happy Anniversary and MANY more to come. I love you Brian.

Well, I never thought that I would be taking a week old out trick-or-treating. But, we manged to get out for Lilly's sake. Jackson was sleeping the whole time. Thank goodness.Lilly really got into trick-or-treating this year. She wanted to keep going but I could only walk so far. We had a good time and she looked so cute.

It was worth the wait. Jackson Robert Weir was born on Sunday the 25Th @ 12:28 am. Weighing in at 8lbs. 7oz and 21 1/2 inches long. Well now I guess I get to re-cap my fun labor story. So, here we go.

Saturday I woke up to some mild contractions. We started timing them and they were about 5 mins. apart. So about 1p.m. we headed to the hospital. Only to find out that I was still only at 2cm and 80%. The doctor told me that the contractions needed to get a lot stronger. GREAT! So back home we went and waited. And the contractions got a lot stronger. (this is what the doc. was talking about.) At 6:30p.m. we left to go back to the hospital. And thank goodness I was at a 4. I told the doctor (the same one who sent us home) now I know what you ment when you told me the contractions needed to be stronger. All I have to say is epidural PLEASE! Now things moved a lot faster:

7:30 p.m. all checked in to labor and delivery room.

8:30 p.m. getting my epidural :)

9:30 p.m. dilated at 7cm

11:30 p.m. now at a 10 and ready to push...and that I did. Our baby boy was born at 12:28 a.m.

Already trying to be a tough guy.

This is our "Celebratory Meal." It was very nice.

Jackson had jaundice in the hospital. We had to stay an extra day. He had to have this light blanket on him 24/7. I called him my little glow worm (his first Halloween costume.)
But, he is fine now.

Lilly meeting her baby brother for the first time. Due to the lovely swine flu they don't allow any kids under the age of 14 in the hospital to visit. Lilly was so excited. She waited a long time to meet him.

We are so blessed to have Jackson join our family. Thank you everyone for all your help. Now let the fun begin.

L.A. County Fair

We made it out to the fair this year. Brian's company had a booth set up and we went to visit him. I think it was only 90 degrees at 5pm when we went but we survived. Most little kids love to go to the fair to see the animals, ride rides or eat yummy food. Well, not Lilly she was more excited to stop at EVERY animal cut-out she could find. So here is her photo shoot.

So I had to jump in for a little picture fun. Sorry, I am having a contraction in the second pic.

She loved the Giant Slide.

I just had to have Brian stop for a quick shoot at the place he ate almost everyday "King Taco." He loved it. Dealing with the after math....not so much.

Disneyland

A few weeks ago Lilly and I headed to Disneyland. And all she talked about was seeing Tinkerbell. So as soon as we got there we headed to see her. There was no line. First we saw Fawn and Lilly and her had a good conversation about footwear.

Then it was off to Tinkerbell. Lilly just walked right up to her and gave her a BIG hug.

Now time for just a few rides. Lilly needed to have her teacup match her shirt. Not sure where she got that from.

We will try and go one more time. Thanks Lill for being a good girl.

I was craving Coco's about a week ago so I asked Lilly if she wanted to go on a "hot date" with mom. And she replied "Mom, no hot date a warm date." I guess the hot date was a little to hot sounding for her. But, we had a great time. I made Lilly get this BIG chocolate cupcake so I could have a bit....or two. (yes, it tastes as good as it looks)

The 4th

We spent the 4Th with my sister Caryn and her family in Elk Grove. There was a big group of us...12 adults.....16 kids and 1 dog(all in one house)= a GREAT 4Th of July. I took a ton of pictures and sorry but I am not going to label them all. We had a blast.

Last Tuesday was my Dad's 70Th Birthday. We just had a small little get together to celebrate.

better late then never! On Friday we went on a hot date to Benihana's for an early Valentine's dinner. We had a great time then off to Golden Spoon for some frozen yogurt.

Saturday, Lilly and I woke up to a few surprises.

Lilly got a big dog that she loves and just had to get him a dog bone to make him happy.

I was getting in my car and got attacked by balloons.
Thank you my love.

After Brian and I got off work, Brian pick up a heart shaped pizza for Pizza Royal. And when we got home Lilly wanted to have a picnic. We had a lot of fun.

I guess you can say Valentine's Day is a little different with you have children.

After voices being lost, blood pressure going through the roof, heartburn, biting fingernails and did I mention A LOT of screaming. The STEELERS did it. And thank goodness or I think a lot of us would have some unhappy husbands and a VERY unhappy bakery. It was a GREAT game. Thank you Adam and Stacey for a great super bowl and birthday party.

Happy New Year! Well on New Years Eve Brian got off work a little early and we decided to head up to Mt. Baldy to have a little fun in the snow. This was Lilly's first time in snow. I think we were a little more excited then she was. But, she warmed up to eventually.

Once Lilly found out you can eat it she was good to go.

Lilly slept in 'till 8:30! But, when she did wake up she sure didn't for get about the cookies (cooks) and the carrots we left out for Santa (san) and his reindeer's. She woke up saying "cooks...san."
(sorry about my morning voice)

Lilly got a kitchen and loves it but, she had to take a break in the

chair Grammy and Grampy got her to call "Owen."

Grandpa Joe from Pittsburgh sent her a few hats and her first

baseball mitt that lights up. Thanks Joe.

Today our little girl turned 2! Where did the time go. We stared the day off with opening a few presents. Brian wanted to get a special gift for Lilly. Golf clubs! What every 2 year old girl wants...right? Well, I would have to say your little 2year old was so excited.

After Lilly had a few practice swings we were off to breakfast. Lilly's favorite meal. We went to Zeke's in Ontario. I would have to say it's the BEST place to go get breakfast. Lill got the biggest pancake and ate the WHOLE thing. This is something we would like to start doing every year as a special treat.

And a BIG thank you to everyone who called to wish her a Happy Birthday. She loved listing to everyone singing "Happy Birthday to Lilly."

Now, time to open a few more presents. Thank you to everyone for the gifts.

CAKE TIME. I guess since the last time she had a Birthday cake everyone was cheering her on to eat it so.....your sweet girl just went for it.

Dinner with Dick and Pepper

Sunday we went out to L.A. to have dinner with our Aunt Pepper and Uncle Dick. We have been going out there for a early Christmas dinner for about 4 years now. She always has a great spread from great appetizer's to having a slice of Stollen bread for dessert. Thank you Pepper and Dick for a great night.

After Peppers house we stopped be the L.A. Temple. They live about 3 minutes away. We walk around to see the lights. The Temple looks amazing at Christmas.

Disneyland

We went to Disneyland last Monday for an early birthday present for Lilly. She had a blast and we did too. Disneyland is so beautiful at Christmas. (sorry we took a lot of pictures.)

We stayed in Minnie's house for 30 min. She was going nuts.

This was just to funny I had to take a picture. There was a little boy dressed up as a dog. Well, as most of you know Lilly LOVES dogs. She spots this little boy(dog) and starts yelling "DOG, DOG." Everyone is looking around for a crazy lose dog and then Lilly runs up to this little boy..."dog, dog...pet, pet." We were laughing so hard. She was just following the dog around wanting to hug and pet him. I am still not sure if Lilly knows that was a real person.

Adam, Stacey and their kids were going to the Pumpkin Patch and asked if Lilly and I wanted to join them.....sureeee. We drove to to Tanaka Farm's, in Irvine. It is a HUGE farm where the grow everything you could possible think of. Lilly had a great time. Here are just a few pictures that Stacey snapped of Lilly.

On Wednesday we went to the Pumpkin Patch with Aaron, Jenni and the kids. We drove out to the Live Oak Canyon Pumpkin Patch, in Redlands. We went last year and had a great time so off we went. Just I little warning.....I took a lot of pictures.

Brian, Lilly and I went up to Elk Grove to visit my sister and her family. We had such a GREAT time. It was great to see my sister and her growing little belly. We already miss you guys. Thanks again. We had a blast. Here are a few pictures.

This morning Brian was getting ready to go to the bakery. He put this OTBC shirt on and then Lilly looked at me and saw that I had my shirt on too (I go in on Wednesday to make sandwiches). Then she ran in her room and was trying to open her dresser drawer. She wanted her shirt on too. So now she was already to go.

We walked Brian out to say good-bye and Lilly thought she was going with him to the bakery (in her eyes she did have her OTBC shirt on). She was VERY upset and I told her we can go tomorrow.

I guess we should hand it to her.....she wants to start working or just eat sprinkle cookies.

A few weeks ago I went over to my sister Aimee's to watch Jacob so she could go out with a few friends. It was so funny to see Lilly and Jacob play together. There is always other kids around and I think they just had a great time playing with each other. The would start talking to each other in a secret language and it was the funniest thing. She did it! Well, we decided to do swim classes again. She passed. She was all ready for her test. Lillys favorite part was jumping in the water. Good job Lill.
