What month is it???

July.....August.....oh wait it's April. Well, you couldn't tell by the 98 degrees day we had yesterday. So, yesterday it was so hot I say "hey we will just do some fun thing inside with the nice air condition." Well, that lasted tell about 3 or so. So out to the backyard we went. Of course Lilly didn't mind that it was 100. So mom just put a BIG smile on her face and off we went. After about a hour or so I still just couldn't get use to the heat (remember its April.) At this point anything to cool me down .....yummy Popsicles. So I went in and got us a few Popsicles. Of course Lilly and no problem with that. So here are a few pictures.

PIGTAILS.....at last

Well, today was a day I had been waiting for, for a long time. PIGGY TAILS! I know that not everybodies children have this problem of the nice thin, freeze, just growing in one spot and did I say THIN hair. Well, Lilly has been very blessed with just that!

I have never been able to put any thing in her hair because it ether just falls out or she pulls it right out.

(Lilly just LOVES the gardening tools) They lasted about 2 hours. So I would have to say that we are making progress.

And please say tuned because I am just starting to make so baby (and Big girl)hair clips that will actually say in. Wish me luck.

Easter.....just a little late

Sorry, I guess I had downloaded all my Easter pictures in a secret file. Well, the file was so secret I couldn't even find it (but I finally did.)

Lilly woke up to find the Easter Bunny had left her a little something.
Lilly just loves babies and loves to feed them.

Lilly got the hang of the Easter egg hunt pretty quickly. I think Macie might be eyeing Lilly's eggs. Hoping she might drop one.

We had a great time with the family.

For some reason Adam and Lilly are always color coordinated on holidays. Last Easter Lilly was wearing a Blue, White and Pink dress. And Adam was wearing a PINK Shirt. The picture of them together last year was the best. (sorry couldn't find the picture)

On Friday my Dad had surgery on his foot again (the 5th time.) So he ask if I could take care of the backyard. Sure, anything I could do to help. Lilly was just so excited to get out here tool's and watering can. But, she didn't want to let anything go. So she was just trying the whole time not to fall or drop anything.

Sacramento Fun

My Mom, Lilly and I went up to Sacramento for 9days to watch Caryn's children. So they could go on a cruise. We had a great time with the kids. Lilly just loved to follow Bridgete's EVERY move and I mean every move. Bridgete asked if she could have a ice cream sandwich and of course Lilly needed to have one too.
Here is Lilly making a mess but, don't worry Tucker is right there to help clean it up.


One night Filippo and I made a cake for dessert. And we sat down to eat it and I asked Bridgete to get Lilly a spoon and I think she got the biggest serving spoon she could find. But, I don't think it bothered Lilly at all.

Our last day there it was so HOT(I think 95.) So we let the kids run in the sprinkles. Lilly just thought it was the greatest thing. We had a great time with the kids. Caryn I really look up to you for taking care of 5kids. You are a great Mother and Wife. You and Dave have raised 5 great kids, who love you guys very much.

"Blog band wagon"

We had to do it. Well with a little help from Stacey. So just bare with me the first few posts. I hope I will get the hang for this soon. I can't post any pictures yet do to the fact that I am in Sacramento watching Caryn's family and away from my computer (and my husband.) But, we are coming home on Saturday (NO, Adam not in time to work.) Can't wait.
